Feature Length Film Shot on a Nokia N8 and it Looks Incredible [Video]

Phone cameras have advanced a long way since they were first introduced, but until recently they were rarely used for anything other than taking funny pictures and such. However, one man and a film crew have set out to change that. Hooman Khallili and a film crew set out to shoot a full length motion picture. While this is not the first time a movie has been shot on a cell phone camera, it is the first time a full length feature has.

They taped the phone to a special lenses which adapted it to a set of Prime lenses and that is how they achieved most of the advanced film effects, but the vibrant colors the N8, Nokia's last Symbian phone, produced are just incredible. There are also a couple of scenes where the phone was used by itself such as when it was put on a robotic helicopter for an overhead shot. The movie is called Olive, and Khallili hopes to make the movie the first ever big screen movie shot on a cell phone. He is currently trying to raise $300,000 over at Kickstarter to get it on the big screen

I have to say, what they has achieved with just a cell phone camera is simply stunning take a look at the video to see for yourself. It starts out with them telling how they did it, but also includes the opening scene of the movie starting at about 3:45.
