Nexus Volume Levels Should Now Stay Put, Volume Bug Fix Unleashed

Samsung's Galaxy Nexus smartphone
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is receiving an update today to fix the volume bug that caused the phones volume to adjust when held close to another phone. The update should be live now for the few people who have the Nexus as some have reported it coming through. It doesn't appear that it includes anything other than the volume bug fix as the file is around 1MB. If you want try and pull the update go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates to check and see if it is available (that is if you are lucky enough to have the phone).

It is speculated that this may be what Verizon was waiting for before they release the Nexus on their network.  It would make sense that they wanted to fix the biggest bug with the phone before they release it. So hopefully now that the fix is live Verizon will decide it is time to unleash the beast upon the world.
