Droid Razr Maxx's Battery Life Makes Other Devices Quiver

As expected the Droid Razr Maxx does indeed have great battery life. Laptop Mag. tested it by running a test that makes the phone constantly surf web pages over 4G with the screen at 40% brightness until it dies. The Razr Maxx chugged on for a whopping 8 hours and 25 min. That's 1 hour 43 minutes more than the previous leader the Samsung Droid Charge. When compared to the original Razr it boasts a full 3 hours 40 minutes advantage. It isn't just Verizon's 4G phones that it trounces, but also every other 4G phone they have tested. AT&T's 4G LTE Galaxy S II Skyrocket didn't even have a chance with only 5 hour 42 minutes.

Basically what this tells us is that the 3300mAh battery does manage to somewhat tame the LTE power eating beast. Allowing this phone to quite possibly make it through the day on a full charge with normal usage. We should be seeing some insane daily usage numbers as people grab up this beast. Bellow is the chart from Laptop Mag. if you want to compare it to more Verizon 4G phones or hit the source link to see their comparison to phones from other carriers. By the way Amazon Wireless has it for 200 bucks a full $100 off Verizon's price.
