|Could Google and Asus be working on a 7 inch tablet.|
According to WSJ reports Google and Asus are teaming up to release a Google-branded tablet this year. Google has apparently became very impressed with Asus devices, and I must say I have as well. I mean look at their past, they release one of the best Tegra 2 tablets in the original Transformer tablet. Then they brought it's successor the world's first Quad-Core Tegra 3 device the Transformer Prime. Later this year, the 7 inch Memo is coming along with a bunch of other intriguing devices (PadPhone, TF700T, etc.)
Asus is on it's A game and pumping out great device one after one, so it makes sense that Google would want their help to make a "Nexus" tablet (there are actually a lot of ideas about what it will be called.). There is some speculation that it may be a a Google Play brand tablet, but whatever it is called it is expected to be marketed and sold by Google and Asus.
There is also speculation that this tablet may usher in Android Jelly Bean, which is expected this summer. It is also thought that the Google tab will be priced sub $200. If you want more details be sure to check out the Wall Street Journal article in the source below.
