Updated:Transformer Prime Update Live

Asus said it was coming and in true Asus fashion the update is ready. This one brings along some new features such as being able to view notifications from the lock screen and the option of turning off data connections when the the screen is off. The rumor that this update included face unlock was false. It is nowhere to be found.

Aside from that, it appears that the screen artifacts are gone. My Prime had been "flickering" when typing in the YouTube app, but it appears this is now gone. Asus also fixed the battery stats. That's right someone at Asus finally figured out they could make the tablet show what was using the battery, genius(sarcasm).

This is a fairly sizable update, but it does not bring Android 4.04 with it. This will bump you to build 9.4.2.21 and I believe it bumps WiFi version as well. If you find anything else let me know in the comments. Anyways, smash that update button it's definitely worth it.

Update: Just found that you can lock the system bar to prevent you from hitting buttons during games. A very neat feature. You can find it under Asus customized settings. See photo below.
