Instagram Available on the Play Store

Many had been waiting for this day a long time, but you can now make your pictures look like you knew what you were doing.

Instagram has long been popular on iOS, but as of today Android users can add effects to photos and post them all over their social networks.Instagram is here for Android and it appears that the developers have put a lot of work into the app making it support a lot of devices and run stable on those supported.

This is something that unlike last week's big port from the iOS world, Temple Run, is great to see. Everything I have heard about the app has been positive. the only thing that quirks me is the fact that the Transformer Prime is not supported yet, but I'm sure it will be in time. I took the photos below on my HTC Thunderbolt and it had no issues whatsoever.

Everything about the launch of Instagram on Android hasn't been positive. Some die hard Apple fans aren't very happy that they have lost exclusivity to cool semi-professional looking pictures. I'm glad to see some of these great cameras included on Android devices get put to good use. If your interested in making cool photos head on over and pick up Instagram in the Play Store.
